Everyone is unique and so is their skin, so it is important to note that results are dependent on the users skin type.

In saying that, we spent a number of years formulating our products to ensure that we could best help all of our babes skin types, as much as we possibly could.

For exceptional results, try our 1-3 Step process, which utilises new tanning technology, giving you the best chance possible to get that golden summer glow.

They're two different products that work best together as part of our 1–2 Step Tanning Process. Each playing a unique role in supercharging your glow.

PREPARE: Maximum Tanning Moisturiser
Use the moisturiser daily for 5–7 days before sun exposure. Infused with our tanning technology, it primes your skin so you can tan deeper, darker, and faster.

TAN: Accelerating Tanning Oil
The oil is designed to be used in the sun - at the beach, by the pool, wherever you chase your glow. It takes your tan to the next level while you're soaking up the warmth.

Pro tip: For the ultimate golden result, pair both products together and follow the full 1–2 Step Process. Your skin will thank you! ✨

Both the Tanning Oil and Tanning Balm are designed to be used in the sun to help you tan deeper and faster. The difference really comes down to consistency, finish, and personal preference.

Tanning Oil : Lightweight, non-greasy, and fast-absorbing. Perfect if you prefer a barely-there feel while you tan.

Tanning Balm: A luscious, thicker gel formula with a subtle shimmer for that extra sun-kissed glow. Ideal if you love a richer, more indulgent feel on the skin.

Which one is right for me?
It comes down to what your skin loves most! If you prefer something light, go for the Oil. If you love a richer texture with a hint of shimmer, the Balm is your go-to. You really can't go wrong with either!

Results will vary from skin type to skin type, hence this will be dependent on the person. In some instances, we have seen results in as little as half an hour, although this is by no means a guarantee. Fairer skin types with lower natural levels of melanin may need more time to see results. Individuals with higher melanin levels may take less time to see results, again, this is all down to the user.

Our products help aim to give you the best possible chance of your deepest tan potential in the shortest amount of time.

Brunaé Body has self tan and tanning products. The tanning products, which are designed to be used in the sun, do not contain self-tan. The Self Tanning products, which are effectively sunless tanners do contain self tan (or fake tan).

Our SPF Oil (available exclusively in AU and UK) contains SPF 15, offering light protection against both UVA and UVB rays. We recommend applying it before any of our tanning products to help protect your skin while achieving a sun-kissed glow.

All other Brunaé Body products do not contain SPF, so be sure to reapply sunscreen as needed throughout the day.

Our products are not your regular tanning oils. At Brunaé, we have a huge focus on skincare, and have selected high quality skin-care ingredients which are designed to hydrate and nourish your skin while you tan.

We have carefully formulated our products with natural oils that are known to assist with your body’s natural development of melanin, helping you tan darker with less time in the sun.

Yes, Brunaé Body products are 100% vegan. We are completely animal cruelty free, and also vegan.

Apply all of our products liberally to all areas of your body. 

For our Maximum Moisturiser, use as a daily moisturiser, or apply for at least 1 week prior to sun exposure to prep your skin.

For our Accelerating Tanning Oil, apply liberally to all areas before heading out in the sun or onto a sunbed. Reapply as needed throughout your session.

First time using our products? Always patch test 24 hours before full application. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. For external use only.

Yes! Brunaé Body products are safe to use during pregnancy and are generally fine to use while breastfeeding too.

That said, every body is different, so if you have any concerns, we always recommend checking with your doctor or healthcare provider first, just to be on the safe side.

Brunaé Body products help with your natural tan. The tan you achieve from the use of our products will fade like a normal tan. In saying that, hydrating your skin with our Maximum Moisturiser days after sun exposure may help prolong your tan.
